Principal Designer for a national solar rollout
A large property organisation was rolling out solar panels across its UK estate. Dozens of sites, multiple contractors, and a duty under CDM 2015 the client wasn't resourced to discharge in-house — with works happening around tenants and live operations.
Matthew acted as Principal Designer and client safety adviser for the programme. He set the pre-construction information, coordinated design risk across the contractors, and made sure each site's plan survived contact with the realities of an occupied building — not just looked right on paper.
The rollout proceeded across the estate with CDM duties properly held and works planned around tenants and daily operations.
